What makes the perfect yacht tender? Maximum safety, easy handling and optimum driving characteristics wherever you take it. Slatted-bottom boats are great if you're looking for a tender that is simple in construction, easy to transport and store. However, driving charecteristics are not always as good as boats with solid fibreglass hulls. RIBs, on the other hand, might have the better handling charecteristics, but because of their size and heavy weight, their usage is usually limited to large yachts. SEATEC-AEROTEND tenders connect all of these important characteristics together! This has been achieved by their entirely new high-pressure inflatable flooring systems that consist of two chambers, which are layed out in a V shape. This creates a stable, solid hull which almost reaches the capabiities seen in RIB vessels - however, with considerably lower weight, smaller packing volume and higher carrying capacities! The special design of the hull guarantees maximum directional stability, excellent handling and less drift at low speeds. Note on material: SEATEC AEROTEND boats are made from a special 5-layer PVC (polyvinyl chloride). The base is made of a synthetic fibre fabric reinforcement (polyester). The fabric has 1100, making it particularly strong. It is covered on the inside and outside with an adhesive layer which serves as a carrier for a double-sided PVC coating. This keeps the inflatable boat light and robust. The PVC used is specially developed for the production of inflatable boats and has been tried and tested for years. The thickness of the material is approx. 0.7 mm, the boat skin weighs approx. 850 g/m². Material comes from Germany. The floor consists of a multi-layer laminate with a special fabric that is 67 mm thick. The floor weighs 1950 g / m² and has a maximum strength of 3000 N / 5 cm on both sides.
